Affiliate Links Section

The Affiliate Links Section is a dedicated area on your public profile page for brand partnerships, sponsorships, and affiliate relationships. Unlike gear list items (which are product-level links embedded in a specific list), your affiliate links section is a persistent part of your profile that visitors see every time they land on your page.

You can write a bio specifically for your affiliate links section — separate from your main profile bio — to introduce your partnerships or explain what these links represent. This bio appears above the links themselves at /yourusername/links and also on your main profile page.

Each affiliate link has a label (e.g. 'KutzAll'), a destination URL (your personal affiliate link), and an optional short description shown below the label. When you save an affiliate link, MakerManifest automatically generates a mkr.ms short link for it. This short link is tracked, so you can see click counts in your dashboard and analytics.

Premium users can also organize their affiliate links into named groups with optional group descriptions. Groups let you separate your partnerships by category — for example, separating woodworking tools from safety equipment, or separating US-based partners from international ones. Each group can have its own description explaining the theme.

Your affiliate links section is available at a dedicated URL — makermanifest.co/yourusername/links — in addition to appearing on your main profile. Share this URL directly with your audience when you want to highlight all your brand relationships in one place.
